2. Report a problem, or ask for something new
Something went wrong
Tell us what happened and what you expected. This opens an email with the questions in it.
You want it to do something it does not
Tell us what you want, and what it would help you do.
What to put in your message
These four things let us help you much faster:
- the app version, which is at the bottom of the Settings tab,
- your iPhone model and iOS version,
- the language you use the app in,
- what you did, step by step, before the problem showed up.
Please do not email us a real slip, a bank account number, a transaction number, your passcode, a backup file, an export, or a screenshot of your real transactions. We do not need your financial details to help you, and we would rather not have them. If you can, show us the problem using a transaction you typed in yourself.
3. Common questions
What slips can it read?
It is built for Thai payment slips from K PLUS, SCB EASY, Krungthai NEXT, Bangkok Bank, and TrueMoney Wallet, in Thai or English. That includes PromptPay receipts paid through TrueMoney. Many Thai slips also print a QR code for checking the slip, and the app reads that directly to get the reference number and the bank.
Slips from other apps are read a different way. It only fills in what it is sure of, and always asks you to check. Some slips still cannot be read.
You can change anything before you save it, and fix a saved transaction later too. The app does the reading, so it gets things wrong sometimes. It is built to stop and ask rather than guess, so check anything marked Needs review.
Do I need internet?
Not for the main thing. Reading a slip, saving it, sorting it into a category and everything in the whole-month spending guide all work with no connection. You only need internet to buy or restore Premium through the App Store, and to use iCloud backup.
Which iPhones work?
Any iPhone on iOS 16 or later.
It cannot see my photos
Open the iOS Settings app, find Slip Tracker, then Photos, and check what you allowed. You can also use Choose from Photos and hand it one picture at a time.
Where is my data kept?
On your iPhone. Your slips are read on your phone, and your transactions are kept in an encrypted database there. The original slip image is not kept after it is read. We have no server for your transactions. The app asks RevenueCat whether your Premium is active. Only purchase information goes there. The Privacy Notice explains that in full.
Does it connect to my bank?
No. There is no bank login and nothing is pulled from your account. The app only reads the slip images you pick.
What is free, and what does Premium add?
Free gives you 100 scans in your first 30 days, then 50 a month, every transaction you save, filtering by date, category and type, your first account, app lock, reminders, the whole-month spending guide, and a complete JSON backup and export.
Premium adds CSV, Excel and PDF formats, unlimited scans, importing lots at once, month-by-month trends, more than one account, spending guides by category and merchant, automatic backup to your own iCloud, and advanced filters. Your transactions are never locked.
How do I back up?
Open Settings, then Backup & Restore. Saving a backup file yourself is free. Automatic iCloud backup comes with Premium and is off until you turn it on. Once it is on, the app puts the same file in your own iCloud, at most once a day. That file goes to your iCloud, not to us.
How do I get my data out?
Open Settings, then Export data. You pick where the file goes, on the usual iOS share menu. Keep that file safe, like a bank statement.
I paid for Premium but it is gone
Open Settings, then Premium, then Restore purchases. Sign in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. Slip Tracker has no login of its own.
How does paying work?
Premium is sold by the App Store as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. A subscription renews on its own until you cancel. You can cancel in the app, or in your Apple Account. Lifetime never renews. The App Store shows you the price in your own currency before you buy.
If you get a new phone, open Settings, then Premium, then Restore purchases, and Premium comes back.
How do I cancel Premium?
Open Settings, then Premium, then Subscription. You can also cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings. Apple takes the payment and Apple handles refunds, so ask Apple through Report a Problem.
How do I delete everything?
To remove one transaction, open it and delete it from its own screen. To remove everything, open Settings, then Delete all data, which wipes every transaction, rule and setting off your iPhone. Deleting the app removes its data too. You delete exported files and iCloud backups yourself.
Do I need Apple Intelligence?
No. On phones that support it you can turn on On-device money patterns. Everything else works without it.
