3. How each app reads slips

MeowJot reads the slips your bank apps save, from each bank app's album in Photos. Its FAQ says it reads only the QR code on a slip, and adds slips up to 7 or 30 days old, depending on the bank. It does not read your other photos.

Slip Tracker reads the slips you pick from Photos, or finds today's and yesterday's slips for you. It reads the words and the QR code on each slip, on your iPhone. A slip can be any age, including one someone sent you. Anything it is unsure of is marked Needs review, so you can check it.

4. Sign-in and where your data is kept

MeowJot asks you to sign in with your phone number, a code sent by SMS, and your birthday. Your transactions stay with your account, so they follow you to a new phone. MeowJot's privacy notice lists what it collects.

Slip Tracker has no account. It never asks for a phone number or a bank login. Your transactions are saved on your iPhone, encrypted. To move to a new phone, save a backup file for free, or turn on iCloud backup with Premium.

5. What is free

Both apps are free to start.

MeowJot's free plan reads your slips, shows totals by category and filters by bank. It shows the last month of transactions. MeowSilver adds your full history, automatic categories, budgets and graphs. MeowGold adds credit card statements, your own categories and CSV export on top. Both paid plans start with a 14-day free trial.

Slip Tracker's free plan gives you 100 scans in your first 30 days, then 50 each month. It keeps every transaction, with automatic categories, your own categories, the monthly spending guide and a full JSON export. Premium adds unlimited scans, month-by-month trends, iCloud backup, CSV, Excel and PDF export, and more.

6. Moving from MeowJot

Slip Tracker can bring in your MeowJot history.

  1. In MeowJot, export your transactions as a CSV file. MeowJot's pricing page lists CSV export under MeowGold.
  2. In Slip Tracker, open Settings, tap Move from another app, then choose MeowJot.
  3. Pick the file. You see what will be added before anything changes.

Transactions you already added are skipped.

7. Common questions

What is MeowJot?

MeowJot (เหมียวจด) is an expense app from KASIKORN X. It reads the transfer slips your bank apps save and adds them for you. It is on iPhone and Android.

Is MeowJot free?

Yes, to start. The free plan reads your slips and shows the last month of transactions. MeowSilver and MeowGold are paid plans with more features.

Does MeowJot upload my slip pictures?

Its FAQ says no. It reads the QR code on each slip, and the picture stays on your phone. You do sign in with your phone number.

Can MeowJot read old slips?

Its FAQ says it adds slips up to 7 or 30 days old, depending on the bank. Older slips are not added. Slip Tracker reads a slip of any age that you pick.

Does Slip Tracker need an account?

No. There is no account and no bank login. Your transactions are saved on your iPhone, encrypted.

Can I move my MeowJot data to Slip Tracker?

Yes. Export a CSV file from MeowJot, then use Move from another app in Slip Tracker. MeowJot lists CSV export under MeowGold.

Does Slip Tracker work on Android?

Not yet. Slip Tracker is on iPhone with iOS 16 or later. Android is coming soon.
